New Glass Lift - EMI Wing
The EMI wing boasts a new glass wheelchair lift that gives easy access to the first floor bed rooms for all patients. (Thus both wings have there own lift).
Kitchen Renovation
The kitchen has recently been renovated with new equipment, cooker, refrigeration and ventilation in July 2010 making it a good environment in which to prepare quality meals.
New Disability Van
Avalon now has its own disability vehicle which gives residents who wish to the opportunity if they wish to go out with the assistance of staff.
Nursing Wing Renovation
Nursing Wing has been re-furnished to bring it to the high standards of the EMI Wing in 2010.
Specialist Training
Avalons proprietor trained by Penny Garner of Specal in Dementia Care Management thus ensuring Avalon provide the highest quality in dementia care and link the site to www.specal.co.uk
